Sanitary Pads Instructions - more information
I made these pads around ten years ago and only recently are some starting to show wear. These "pay" you back in just a few months. So easy to make and oh-so frugal! All you need is a sewing machine (mine is 35 years old and not fancy at all), a worn towel, an unwanted flannelette bed-sheet (or similar), domes and whatever cotton thread you have available.
Not only are these frugal and will save you pots of money, they are also a practical contribution to lowering our impact on the environment. Save the planet as well as your purse!
